Uniformity

Say you're edging out of your twenties, and clever tees and denim are beginning to feel a tad adolescent. But a suit still seems like overkill. Where to turn? Dunderdon, a sturdy yet stylish line of pants, shirts and outerwear that will make you feel like a working man, not a working stiff. Per-Ivan Hagberg founded the Swedish label in 1997, with the idea of making trousers for artisans and craftsmen with a sense of style. The ideal Dunderdon man? A carpenter who's getting his MFA in sculpture. Or, as Hagberg told us, "Our guy likes good, solid products with a modern cut." The label's "Bok" pant (shown here in 'sub blue') sit just above the hip, are neither too skinny or baggy and scream nothing more than "I'm an adult who's wearing a pair of great-looking pants." - Hunter Slaton

$99, at Dunderdon
  • Dress It Up: Chuck the Chucks and the scuffed up work boots for a change. Pair the pants with some beautiful walnut wingtips. $350, at Allen Edmonds
