"I believe in taking care of myself ... I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine."
Try this skin clearing, shine reducing peel-off mask. $34, by Boscia
Sure, the guy had his flaws, but American Psycho's antihero Patrick Bateman knew how to dress. An insanely impeccable aesthete, he was the poster boy for the conspicuous consumption boom in Manhattan back in the 1980s. He just also happened to be a psychotic serial killer hiding behind his self-described "mask of sanity." To compensate for his lack of control when it came to his homicidal tendencies, he developed an exhaustive personal style and grooming routine, detailing throughout the film the importance of such high-end pieces as a means of effecting some "control" over his otherwise chaotic life. And while some of the style is a tad dated (suspenders, really?) a few of these well-chosen menswear staples will make you look crazy sharp at the office.
