Raan and Shea Parton, the brothers behind Apolis, just released the latest collection from their Standard Issue line, and every piece was handcrafted by small independent shops within a 10 mile radius of their downtown Los Angeles studio. "Besides the shorter lead time that allows us to responsibly balance our supply and demand, we've also loved the hands-on process of really understanding the craft, says Shea. "We're grateful to be partnered with these small shops that truly take pride in their work." With an eye on spring, the line features a chambray utility vest, garment dyed chinos and some organic linen accessories in bold hues. But our favorite has to be the unlined, soft-shouldered blazer. Available in khaki or navy cotton twill, it's the kind of piece that looks very of-the-moment, but feels as though you've had it forever. "My favorite detail is the stone wash we give each blazer—it results in a unique character and feel," says Raan. "And it goes well with our new Civilian Chino to make an easy-to-wear West Coast interpretation of suiting."
