From $325, at Undefeated or in store at Barneys and Saks Fifth Avenue
When a cult favorite brand like The Generic Man joins forces with a premier sneaker shop like Undefeated, the collaboration will be anything but typical. Case in point: Army vs. Navy, the military-themed range of sneakers, chukkas and boat shoes christened for the beloved football game along with the origins of its materials. You see, these shoes are made from deadstock and vintage military fabrics—chambrays from uniforms, canvas from US Forestry tents, standard-issue mosquito netting and wool from pea coats and old Army blankets. They're only producing 300 pairs and because each shoe is handmade from unique materials, no two pairs are exactly alike. Sure, they're more expensive—a lot more expensive—than your average pair of sneakers. But these aren't those kind of kicks. They're a whole lot more unique.
