Fine & Dandy

Matt Fox, the sharp-dressed shopkeep behind the new e-tailer Fine and Dandy, always wanted to open a store that carried all the sartorial trimmings of the well-appointed gentleman. Until this year, when he had the epiphany to forget the bricks and mortar and go online. Managing Broadway theaters by day, he curated his stock after hours, launching this month with an assortment of quality dandy details from ties and tie bars to socks and scarves. The best part? Nothing in the well-edited collection costs more than $50, so you can still afford a proper cocktail.

  • A statue of Beau Brummell, credited as the ultimate dandy, was erected on London's Jermyn Street in 2002.
